Filmmaker Catya Plate’s (1988 Fine Arts) third short from her award-winning environmental trilogy, Las Nogas, was awarded Best Animation at the 2024 Queens World Film Festival. Las Nogas will be included in a special free public screening of award-winning shorts by 2023 NYC Women’s Fund Grant recipients next week at Anthology Film Archives, Wednesday, May 22, 6:30pm.
