Exhibition

MPS Art Therapy and New York City Health + Hospitals present "Safe Spaces," an exhibition of artwork and music created by people incarcerated on Rikers Island, curated by Lesley Achitoff, ATR-BC, LCAT (MPS 2004 Art Therapy) and Robert Belgrod, LCAT (LP) (MPS 2016 Art Therapy).

In addition to the opening reception on Wednesday, October 4, two gallery tours are scheduled, where art therapists will walk attendees through the show, discuss the work they are conducting with clients and provide insight into the Rikers Island environment. 
Gallery Tour 1: Tuesday, October 10, 6:00 – 7:00pm
Gallery Tour 2: Wednesday, October 11, 4:00 – 5:00pm

MPS Art Therapy Project Space hours are as follows:
Mondays, 10:00am – 7:00pm
Tuesdays, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesdays, 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursdays, 10:00am – 3:00pm, 6:00 – 7:00pm
