BFA Computer Art had a busy September for alumni! CAD grads received awards, judged at festivals and directed exciting spots this month.
Wolves in the Walls VR
BFA Computer Animation 07’ alumnus Elizabeth Kupfer, Animation Tech Lead and 3D Animator at Fable Studio, received the Emmy for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media for their VR project Wolves In The Walls: It's All Over with Fable at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

NBA Spot Nathan Love
Alumni Ellen Su ‘13, Anca Risca '08 and Zack Lydon ‘12, worked on a project with Nathan Love turning the best moments of the NBA Playoffs and Finals into a comic book story depicting each NBA superstar as a superhero.MetroCAF
Three SVA Computer Art '19 thesis films screened at the 2019 MetroCAF festival: Butera by Anthony Muscarella, Emily Mai, Winnie Feng, Lilly Chin-Hong; Game On by Angeline Vania and Amy Tang; and Unsurpassed Team by Changjiang Wang, Ruxin Liang, and Michael Davin. Congrats to Butera for "Best Large Group Category" and Unsurpassed Team for "Best Small Group Category".

BAM! Festival
Three SVA BFA Computer Art Alumni were asked to judge at the Brazosport Arts in Media Festival, Ellen Su '13, Elizabeth Ku-Herrero '15 and Eri Cunha '13. BAM! is a three-day festival promoting Short Film and Animation, and other artistic expression through digital media arts. Submissions by high school and university students are judged by professionals in the field, and displayed to the public.
