SVA Features: BFA Design Alumnus' 's Nike Campaign Gets Featured In Comm Arts

A typographic experiment by Axel Lindmarker (BFA 2018 Design) turned into a speculative campaign for Nike, done for a course taught by Peter Ahlberg and featured recently in Communication Arts. To create the work, Lindemarker used a custom program that ensured each generated pattern, whether for a still or motion graphic, would be unique, while also a part of a larger whole.
Previously, Lindmarker was featured in a Wired article about his Lindlund ruler, created while he was still at SVA, in collaboration with fellow student Jens Marklund. The Lindlund offered four units of measurement: inches, centimeters, pixels and picas. Lindmarker currently works as a designer at Google Creative Lab.
