Faculty member Peter Hristoff is the latest artist to create a design for SVA’s long-running series of subway ad posters. According to a recent newsletter sent out by the SVA Alumni Society, “Hristoff chose this letterpress image for the poster for its ‘heraldic’ and joyful quality, emphasized by the flowers′ transition from black to red.”
