This year’s booth features nine artists: Carlos A. Becerra (BFA 2021 Photography and Video), Chris Facey (BFA 2021 Photography and Video), Abbey Gilbert (BFA 2021 Photography and Video), Doi Kim (MFA 2021 Fine Arts), Danielle LaRose (MPS 2021 Digital Photography), Yizhi Liu (BFA 2021 Fine Arts), Song Lu (MFA 2021 Photography, Video and Related Media), Thomas Quinlan (BFA 2021 Illustration) and Alexander Si (MFA 2021 Fine Arts). Independent of SVA Galleries, alumni Paul Amenta (MFA 2000 Fine Arts), Dana James (BFA 2008 Fine Arts) and Carlos Rosales-Silva (MFA 2020 Fine Arts) will also show work at UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach.

Also returning to Miami is Satellite Art Show, which is dedicated to presenting bold, noncommercial and socially engaged projects. Satellite—which Miami New Times named Best Art Fair in 2018—is organized by SVA alumni Brian Whiteley (MFA 2013 Fine Arts), Quinn Dukes (MFA 2015 Art Practice) and AnnaLiisa Benston (MFA 2016 Fine Arts), with Dukes’s online and curatorial platform, Performance Is Alive, offering a robust schedule of performance pieces. The 2021 Satellite Art Show in Miami will be located just three blocks from Art Basel, at the corner of Meridian and Lincoln Road.
