SVA has developed a unique program of advisement designed to fit the needs of the student body.

Department-specific advisors can respond quickly and efficiently to each student’s particular needs and inquiries.

Academic Advisors can assist with the following:

  1. Course selection

  2. Registration

  3. Schedule changes

  4. Attendance problems

  5. Interruption of studies 

  1. Voluntary withdrawals

  2. Independent study proposals

  3. Transfer of credit

  4. Complaints concerning course and faculty members
