Advertising thinkers have an abundance of professional opportunities in areas that address social, environmental and health issues. In particular, overcoming health challenges, and the stigma that comes with them, is a topic that is constantly trending. Helping people with rare diseases, public health problems, food and environmental allergies, and substance abuse (to name a few) is in critical demand. Targeted advertising and digital social channels can raise awareness and motivate change. It's no wonder that the most coveted award at the Cannes Advertising Festival is the Health Lion. More than two-thirds of the winning campaigns last year were purpose-led: accessibility, gender equity, public health and climate were all at the heart of the ads named "the best of the best." Your work in this course can inspire influencers, connect communities, create movements and, above all, make the world a better place. Lectures on digital design, customer journey development, ecosystem planning, understanding of personalization and emerging new media will be given.
NOTE: All students with an active registration in this course will be given free access to the Adobe Creative Cloud. This course is fully online and offered through synchronous sessions during the listed course hours.
