As a working artist, how are you intentional in the stories you tell through images, singularly and together? In this professional development course for practicing artists, you will learn to apply your creative skills toward working as a photo editor. The course offers an intensive introduction to the role of photo editor, including assigning, reviewing, selecting and arranging photographic work to accompany text and convey a story. You will be prompted to assign a photographer to a particular assignment and then select and edit the photographer's work to illustrate the objective of the story, keeping creative direction in mind. Through this hands-on experience, you will expand on your own practice, skills and approach to your artistic field through photo editing.
NOTE: This course is fully online and offered through a synchronous session during the listed course hours.
