As an artist working in an image-saturated world, how can you activate your presence on social media in a meaningful way that stands out and attracts recognition? In this professional development workshop for practicing artists, you will learn to apply your creative skills toward your social media presence. The course introduces you to ways that artists can occupy social media for both promotional purposes and creative output, while also unpacking your role as an artist on these platforms. Expanding on your existing practice, skills and approaches to your artistic field, this course will guide you in further distinguishing your voice through your online presence. Best practices for building your social media audience/network will also be covered.
NOTE: This course is fully online and offered through a synchronous session during the listed course hours.
