The Visible Futures Lab (VFL) at the School of Visual Arts exists to further the theory and practice of interaction and product design through structured explorations of emerging technologies, systems, and behaviors in identified areas of research interest.

In self-guided efforts, the VFL acts as a research and development organization for the world of entrepreneurial design, discovering directions for the next wave of products and services.
