This 10-week program is designed to provide a foundation in the collaborative art of filmmaking. Whether a budding screenwriter, aspiring director, or simply intrigued by the magic of film, this course will equip students with the essential skills needed to bring their cinematic visions to the screen. Working together, students will produce their own short film, from concept to finish, while experiencing different roles in the process. The course begins with a foundation in visual storytelling and narrative screenwriting. It will then explore filmmaking techniques, including camera operation, lighting and sound, followed by the basics of video editing and postproduction.
