The computer lab at the Main Library is equipped with 41 iMacs, 4 Cintiqs, 2 flatbed scanners, black and white and color printing, and the latest versions of Adobe CC, Maya and Final Cut Pro.

New this semester: the popular Art of Animation book series has been relocated from the Main Library to Library West. This series showcases the progression of major films like The Iron Giant, Moana, or WALL-E from inception to realization, including art development and storyboards.
Library West often hosts events like Beat Saber dance-offs, Lunar New Year festivals, Dungeons & Dragons workshops, panel discussions on women in animation, to name just a few. Access for Alumni and CE Students
In order to prioritize our spaces for current students and faculty and to maintain a safe environment, access for alumni will remain paused for the fall semester. Continuing Education students with Cleared4 credentials or SPLAN access are allowed entry to the SVA Libraries. Please email alumni@sva.edu or ce@sva.edu with any questions. Stay up to date on reopening developments at sva.edu.
