School of Visual Arts (SVA) and SVA Student Health and Counseling Services present “Together, we can find HOPE,” the annual HOPE Art Competition Exhibition of campaign posters created by SVA students. For this year’s Suicide Prevention theme, students were invited to submit artwork representing the idea that suicide prevention begins with everyone. “Together, we can find HOPE” encourages SVA community members to use their resources to access mental health services and life-saving tools.

The works by 13 finalists selected from nearly 90 submissions will be on view at the SVA Flatiron Gallery Windows from Thursday, February 16, 2023, to Wednesday, February 22, 2023. At a reception on Thursday, February 16, from 3:30 to 5:00pm, the Grand Prize Winner and the Fan Favorite Prize will be announced. Finalists' prizes are sponsored by the SVA Campus Store. Featured artists include Madeline Shaw (BFA Animation), Zaine Kent (BFA Animation), QiGu (BFA Design), Juliette Kleinjan (BFA Illustration), Kaylin Ingram (MPS Branding), and more. The reception is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
