The MFA Design for Social Innovation Department, in partnership with the Buckminster Fuller Institute (BFI), presents a panel discussion with members of the 2013 Buckminster Fuller Challenge Jury. How do we create a world that "works for 100 percent of humanity," as Buckminster Fuller famously said, in the face of epochal, systemic global crises like climate change? What are the opportunities and challenges for translating breakthrough creative visions into tangible solutions? These and other questions are addressed by panelists  Jason McLennan, CEO of the International Living Future InstituteAndrew Revkin, a science and environmental journalist and senior fellow at Pace University's Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies; artist, curator and author Linda Weintraub; and Woody Tasch, founder and chairman of Slow Money and chairman emeritus of Investors' Circle. Moderated by Dorothy Dunn, cultural producer and educator and principal of  Dorothy Dunn Consulting, this event is presented as part of Marfa Dialogues/NY, a fall 2013 series of exhibitions, performances and discussions examining climate change, activism and artistic practice.
