About "Designing Support: Foreseeing Interdependencies"

This presentation reflects Cameron Tonkinwise's recent design research projects, which focus on helping people recover from natural disasters, prepare for rising summer temperatures, plan for aging, and participate in energy transitions. The three design objectives that appear in these cases are visualizing path dependencies, social resonances, and mediating between autonomy and support or what Annemarie Mol has called the Logic of Choice and the Logic of Care.
