Young people throughout the world are suffering from depression at an alarming and unprecedented level, largely resulting from social and familial pressures. This problem, which I myself suffer from, has been exacerbated by the enforced isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. For the photographs in "Under Pressure", I have created expressionistic self-portraits that attempt to address this struggle in visual terms.
