Fine Arts: Residency in Contemporary Practices Virtual Open Studios

This event will feature individual studio visits with 11 SVA summer residency participants via Zoom. Viewers will be invited to ask questions and participate in an open dialogue with the artists.
Fine Arts: Residency in Contemporary Practices is an intensive studio residency at SVA that has been designed for artists working in both medium-specific and cross-platform modes of production that aim for the intersection of art and ideas. Taught by distinguished members of the MFA Fine Arts faculty, the residency fosters a culture of rigorous practice and contemporary thought.
Participants in the Contemporary Practices Residency include: Manuela Arnal, Paula De Martino, Markus Haala, Anastasia Komar, Katie Kotler, Masha Morgunova, Six Andrew, Ruoxin Sun, Alexandra Taranto, Theo Trotter and Ningxia Zhan.
