Eureka Dreaming, from the “Mid + West” series

Join on ZoomEllen Jantzen was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She doesn’t consider herself a "photographer" but rather an image-maker, creating work that bridges the world of photography, prints and collage. As digital cameras began producing excellent resolution, she found her perfect medium. A true confluence of technical advancements and creative desire culminates in her current explorations of photo-inspired art, using a camera to capture imagery and a computer to alter, combine and manipulate the pieces. Ellen's works, best described as “photomontages,” are shown and published internationally.
After 10 years, the "i3: Images, Ideas, Inspiration" lecture series continues to features leading photographers, artists, editors, gallerists and industry experts. This spring, faculty member, Pulitzer Prize winning photo editor, and consultant Stella Kramer is the guest curator and host. Presented by MPS Digital Photography.
