Clayton Patterson is a photographer, videographer and the unofficial folk historian of the Lower East Side. He has documented the drag scene and gangbangers, was CBGB’s unofficial videographer, co-founded the New York Tattoo Society and famously filmed the Tompkins Square Riots, footage of which was recently used in Joker (2019).


Julian Voloj is an award-winning photographer and author who has published four collaborative graphic novels to date: Ghetto Brother, Joe Shuster, Basquiat and, most recently, Clayton
