i3 Photo Lecture: Lucas Foglia

Sep 15, 2020; 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Color photograph of shirtless man surrounded by green foliage in a forest. He is wearing worn orange pants and has red hair and a red beard. He’s holding a deep cast-iron skillet with stew and a large bone in it.

Lucas Foglia grew up on a small family farm in New York and currently lives in San Francisco. His photographs examine the relationship between human belief systems and the natural world. Foglia will present an overview of recent projects including works from his third and most recent monograph, Human Nature (Nazraeli Press, 2017).
