i3 Photo Lecture: Polly Irungu
Polly Irungu is a multimedia journalist and self-taught photographer based in New York. She is also the founder of Black Women Photographers, a global community and directory of 700+ Black women and non-binary photographers. She speaks to artists and journalists about Black Women Photographers, building communities, photography, social media, branding, podcasting, media diversity, African media and journalism.
The i3: Images, Ideas, Inspiration lecture series features leading photographers and artists, hardware and software developers, and industry experts. This fall, the lecture series is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with the department's founding Chair Katrin Eismann returning as guest curator and host. Presented by MPS Digital Photography.
