I am inspired to investigate and describe the ways in which human interaction and experience conform and contort acts of authorship in public space. This push and pull between the deliberately engineered street and the slippage of human use, as well as photography’s role in advancing or altering these narratives. Through the reiteration of photographic language of scale, I aim to manipulate the viewer's perspective and create hyperawareness of the prefabricated. I’m interested in presenting specific situations that transcend their original objective reality and enter into more poetic conversations that make for a partial picture of our complicated human experience.
