Erin Hayde
MFA Fine Arts: 2024
Erin Hayde is an economist and visual artist currently focused on printmaking and paper mache sculpture. She(they) works with simple and accessible materials that are considered disposable or have been discarded, usually plastic and other garbage. She(they) transforms these materials into more organic forms and uses her(their) art practice to explore questions of absurdity and meaning, human relations with the ‘natural’ world, ecological crisis, and anti-capitalist narratives.
