Special Event

Every semester, MFA Photography, Video and Related Media hosts a salon showcasing the in-progress works of its students, ranging from performance-based pieces to mixed-media installations to print-based works. There will be snacks and an open bar.

At this salon, the department also presents a charity print sale (photographs, paintings, posters, etc.) and book sale (photo books, zines, magazines). All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Puerto Rico relief funds (United for Puerto Rico and All Hands Volunteers). We will also be accepting donations of goods to go towards Puerto Rico relief efforts. Below is a list of items to donate based on the suggestions the local government of Puerto Rico has provided:

Bottled water, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, diapers, canned foods, dry foods, baby formula, garbage bags, towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, canned milk, canned and dry pet food, baby and adult pain relief medicine, stomach and diarrhea relief medicine, mosquito repellant, blankets, pillows, first aid kits and cots.
