OPEN IXD: MFA Interaction Design Thesis Festival

OPEN IXD celebrates the work of 14 MFA Interaction Design students. Inside the theater, graduating students present their experiences through story; in the theater lobby, prototypes are in the open for play and exploration. With opening remarks by department chair Liz Danzico and a closing keynote by designer and author Frank Chimero.

"Open is a practice. It encourages collaboration; it suggests a community. Open is a methodology. It is a way of making; it allows transparency. Open is a platform and a framework; it allows for imagination and stories," Danzico says. "Join the Class of 2014 in their presentations."

Free and open to the public
