Seph Rodney

MFA Fine Arts presents a talk by art writer and educator Seph Rodney.
Seph Rodney was born in Jamaica and grew up in New York City. He has an English degree from Long Island University, Brooklyn, an MFA in Studio Art from the University of California, Irvine, and a PhD in Museum Studies from Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a staff writer and editor for Hyperallergic, writing about contemporary art and related issues. He has written for the CNN Op-ed pages, Contemporary And, American Craft and Artillery. He has taught at Parsons School of Design and is now an adjunct faculty member at the School of Visual Arts. He is currently under contract with Routledge Press to produce a book based on his ongoing research regarding the personalization of the museum visit.
