MFA Photography, Video and Related Media invites you to a discussion with Co-Chair of MFA Design, art director and design writer and critic Steven Heller. In anticipation of the U.S. presidential election this November, Heller will present his work on the history of propaganda art and design from his book Iron Fists: Branding the 20th Century Totalitarian State (Phaidon Press; Reprint Edition, 2011). Heller will engage in an open dialogue analyzing the visual style of politically motivated messages and contemporary global politics.
