School of Visual Arts presents “SVAID Makes Space,” featuring work by 37 students of the BFA Interior Design Department at SVA. The exhibition will be on view December 7 through January 11 at the SVA Flatiron Gallery, 133/141 West 21st Street, New York City. Due to Winter Recess, the gallery will be closed December 19 – January 1. Admission is free and open to the public.  


Participating artists include Amanda Abdel-Hadi, Amanda Bacha, Daniel Chilcote, Michelle Choi, Sooji Choi, Jesscia Cresanti, Alex Davis, Shannon Dyson, Jake Fricke, Jennifer Forgione, Amanda Gardner, Angela Hernandez, Jungeun Hong, Younjin Jang, Fatima Jeghir, Danielle Kachler, Vanessa Lacayo, Josephine Lee, Alin Li, Bo Liu, Elizabeth Lopez, Duelle Min, Aditi Mohan, Erica Norton, Hyo Been Park, Kwangsung Park, Sojin Park, Anthony Pezzulo, Julian Porcino, Courtney Ross, Paula Trivino, Fjuki Tsai, Hexiao Wang, Yawen Wang, Wen so Yang, Sayaka Yoshida and Xiawen Zhou.


SVAID exposes students to the latest thinking and creative energy in a constantly changing and expanding field in order to provide a solid basis for a broad range of professional opportunities.


“This exhibition illustrates the clear and timely pedagogy that SVA has crafted in order to master plan drawings for the evolution of the built environment, and to understand the power and future of three dimensional rendering,” says exhibition curator and department faculty member Annie Coggan.
