My book "The Man Maker Codex", based on "The Circular Ruins" by Jorges Luis Borges and designed after the Mayan codices, shows the struggles of a god trying to create a masterpiece, acting as a metaphor for an artist's life. This comics codex is 120 inches long and is meant to be shown connecting the first and last page, representing the repeated efforts of artists trying and failing to bring their concept to life.
