In the time of youth, everyone has empty spaces, somewhere in their hearts, and we strive to fill up that emptiness—to be perfect for our own or others’ standards. Imperfection is probably a trace of everything that has been done to be perfect. The everyday struggle is undoubtedly noble; therefore, imperfection is beautiful rather than “wrong.” My works, abstract paintings done in acrylics and oils, show an attempt to reach the imperfect realm’s beauty, which is an invisible struggle, through the visualization of abstract elements that secretly exist between or behind recognizable blue surfaces.
