During the spring 2020 semester, BFA Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects partnered with Chelsea’s P.S. 33 to present some kid-friendly thesis works to their 5th grade class. Four groups of fourth-year students volunteered to present their finished thesis films and give a brief intro showing concept art, 3D models, environments and animation. They made videos for the young students to view at home this month along with their shorts. The P.S. 33 students then responded to the thesis films and created their own stories with an at home assignment.

Above is a still from the video that students Chrissy Baek, Maya Mendonca and Daniela Dwek made for P.S. 33 students, explaining the making of their thesis film Hamsa.
