Watch visual biographer, filmmaker and SVA staff member Benita Raphan's (BFA 1984 Media Arts) Up to Astonishment, a film about Emily Dickinson that uses the form of a cinematic diary to examine Dickinson's eccentric and brilliant inner life. This project was supported by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and was shared by the Emily Dickinson Museum on Instagram.
