Flora Bai (MFA Illustration as Visual Essay student), Halo, 2020. This illustration was selected for Rockefeller Center's Flag Project and is currently installed as a flag in the iconic New York City plaza, alongside flags designed by fellow SVA community members KAWS (BFA 1996 Illustration), Sarah Sze (MFA 1997 Fine Arts), Peter Papulis (BFA 1977 Fine Arts) and Joseph Cavalieri (BFA 1983 Media Arts). The flags will fly until Sunday, August 16.
