After the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the late designer and SVA faculty member Milton Glaser reimagined his iconic I ❤️ NY logo with the appendage, “more than ever.” The original small poster became an SVA subway poster that was distributed all over the city’s five boroughs by SVA students 19 years ago. The image quickly spread and became a symbol of enduring love for the city.
