Since fall 2020, Marilyn Montúfar (BFA 2009 Photography) and Underground Writing have been collaborating on a photography series focused on mentoring and photographing Chicana and female migrant youth with heritage in Mexico. An exhibition featuring photographs and writings from the project, “Migrant Youth/Chicana Perspectives: Living in Multiple Spaces,” is currently on view at the Museum of Northwest Art’s Outside Inside Gallery.
