The SVA Campus Store’s new clothing line pays tribute to the late artist and MFA program Illustration as Visual Essay Chair Marshall Arisman (1938 – 2022) and his contributions to the SVA community and art world. The line is modeled here by Arisman’s longtime colleague and friend Kim Ablondi (BFA 1984 Photography) and wife, Dee Ito, and features an illustration that first appeared on a 1974 SVA subway poster with a headline written by Ito, who often collaborated with her husband. ⁠These limited edition tees and crewnecks were screen-printed locally by @silkysbk.
