SVA Alumni Affairs is dedicated to advancing the cultural and educational best interests of its members. Through programs, publications, special events and promotions, the office maintains an active relationship with alumni and encourages them to support the College's mission to educate future generations of artists, designers, and creative professionals. All degree graduates of SVA are considered alumni.
We are currently operating remotely. As we consider the evolving health crisis and the College’s operational status, we are committed to providing ongoing access to alumni benefits, resources and programming as best as possible during this unique time.
Currently, alumni are not allowed access to campus unless explicit special permission has been granted on a case-by-case basis by a specific department. But such access is subject to change, per evolving reopening planning, guidelines and regulations.
Under normal circumstances, SVA alumni enjoy access to the SVA Libraries after graduation. Until further notice, this benefit remains suspended.
SVA’s plans for a safe reopening have been created by academic and administrative leadership in accordance with New York State guidelines, as well as the guidance of federal and local health authorities.
