SVA Alumni Affairs is dedicated to advancing the cultural and educational best interests of its members. Through programs, publications, special events and promotions, the office maintains an active relationship with the alumni and encourages them to support the College's mission to educate future generations of artists, designers, and creative professionals. All degree graduates of SVA are considered alumni.

We are currently operating remotely. As we consider the evolving health crisis and the College’s operational status, we are committed to providing ongoing access to alumni benefits, resources and programming as best as possible during this unique time.

Until further notice, alumni are not allowed access to campus unless explicit special permission has been granted on a case-by-case basis by a specific department.

Also, while alumni usually have access to the SVA Libraries after graduation, until further notice, the library cannot accommodate alumni.

SVA’s plans for a safe, phased-in reopening have been created by academic and administrative leadership per New York State’s plans for reopening New York City and under the guidance of federal, state and local health authorities. For more information, click here.
