In this series I use video chat to generate photographs exploring the relationships between three generations of women in my family. The webcam acts as both a mirror and lens during our conversations as I take a closer look at my mother, sister, and daughter through an intimate yet pixelated form. By telling the stories of my mother and sister, entering into new dating lives in the aftermath of their respective divorces, and my attempts to connect my young daughter while away, a greater narrative emerges about the matriarchal bonds formed within the family.
