Being resilient does not guarantee reward at the end. Being resilient does not make our situations better. Instead, we become stronger and able to see things in different perspectives. Being resilient encourages us to take courage and move onwards. Growing up, I attended schools in Korea and the U.S. I had a hard time as an international student adapting to a new culture while at the same time, not losing my own. Throughout time, I have learned to cope with my obstacles which made me stronger. My attitude towards the obstacles has changed as I became more prepared. I am interested in creating artworks that anyone can relate to. This book sheds light on how we might come to see our obstacles from different perspectives during the process of staying resilient. Being resilient can change challenges into chances, which in turn can expand for us to make breakthroughs.
