This year, MFA Social Documentary Film’s annual participation in DOC NYC, America’s largest documentary festival, includes six new films from current students.


The films screen online Wednesday, November 9 – Saturday, November 27, and in-person, Wednesday, November 9 – Thursday, November 17, in Chelsea. This screening will be followed by a Q&A with several members of the filmmaking teams. Tickets are required.


Current students in the program are showing their first-year films as part of the DOC NYC U program, which exhibits some of the best documentaries being made at film schools around New York City. These films include:
