Bio:

Ventura A. Pérez has a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo. He is currently in Visual and Critical Studies in SVA developing a research project with the support of the Fulbright grant. In addition to his production and academic practice in the field of education and research, his career highlights the stay in different artistic residencies and exhibitions such as BilbaoArte Residency, Culturgal or Afinidades Selectivas 11.

Artist Statement:

Ventura A. Pérez currently focuses his interest on the relationship between New York architecture and visual arts, deriving architectural concepts from formats such as sculpture, painting or drawing.
