The latest edition of our web series Joes@Moe's finds host Zipeng Zhu (BFA 2013 Design) at SVA's Accepted Students Day which took place Saturday, April 7. The day was a huge success, drawing more than 600 accepted students along with friends and family, totaling over 1,500 people. Additionally, our International Student Office met with students from all over the globe, representing Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Kenya, Peru, South Korea and Sweden.

In this Joes@Moe's clip, Zipeng spoke to dozens of accepted, visibly excited students as well as representatives from Visual Opinion magazine, a publication featuring student work, SVA Housing, Queer SVA, the student-run LGBTQ community and others while documenting the energy and excitement of the day.

Students praised the creative freedom the school allows, the exceptional faculty and the draw of New York City as the greatest campus of the world, with one parenting summing it all up perfectly, "I feel like if you're going to go to art school, wow, go big—and this feels like going big."
