Saturday, June 4, 2:00 – 6:00pm | Throned: An interactive Photo Booth by Tiffany Smith | Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 1

The Division of Continuing Education at SVA presents "Throned," a solo exhibition and activation by artist Tiffany Smith at this year’s Photoville photography festival. Tiffany Smith Studio will set up a photo booth featuring a wicker throne chair, custom backdrop, plants and props highlighting plant life from the Caribbean. The public will have the opportunity to have a free portrait taken by Tiffany Smith at Photoville Community Day on Saturday, June 4.

MFA Art Practice hosts a keynote lecture by artist, architect and filmmaker Alfredo Jaar, who lives and works in New York. His work has been shown extensively around the world. He has participated in the Biennales of Venice (1986, 2007, 2009, 2013), Sao Paulo (1987, 1989, 2010, 2021) as well as Documenta in Kassel (1987, 2002).
