Veterans
In our undergraduate program we offer the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in eleven different disciplines; and in our graduate program we offer the Master of Arts (MA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), the Master of Art in Teaching (MAT) and the Master of Professional Studies (MPS). SVA is honored to welcome veterans to our campus. SVA is a Yellow Ribbon Program participating school.
Nikki Woods (BFA 2020 Design, MPS 2023 Art Therapy) spent eight years in the U.S. Army. A newly minted alumni, she also served as the President of the Veteran Coalition of Arts—a collective of veteran-artists whose work reflects personal experiences as a way to shape their artistic practices—during her time at SVA.
Veterans also are eligible for a 20% tuition discount on all continuing education courses. The veteran discount cannot be combined with any other discount offered through the Continuing Education division. Search continuing education courses.
