Carra Seals has imbued the form of a cinder block as a proxy or micro-memorial to deserted places or abandoned American towns she has witnessed. The blocks are tiny and hand-built and are arranged in a variety of ways, both on site as installations and in photographs, oftentimes growing and changing in character with each piece.
