Introducing the Fall/Winter 2023 ‘Visual Arts Journal’

The latest issue of SVA’s magazine, featuring a selection of articles on alumni working in film, arrives in a few days.

In a few days, the fall/winter 2023 issue of the Visual Arts Journal, the magazine of the School of Visual Arts, arrives on campus and in graduates’ mailboxes around the country. For those unable to pick up a copy, the Journal is also available in full online and free of charge on Issuu, issuu.com/svavisualartsjournal.

The latest Journal features a collection of film-themed articles as well as its usual complement of regular features, alumni notes and College news. Highlights include:

  • a guide to making the most of remote job interviews;
  • a portfolio of drawing-like sculptures by Minseop Yoon (MFA 2013 Fine Arts);
  • SVA alumni filmmakers making waves in the horror genre;
  • frame-worthy movie posters illustrated by SVA alumni and faculty;
  • a Q&A with Academy Award-winning audio engineer Mark Ulano (1975 Film and Video).
