A still life done by SVA student Amber Dacanay in her Painting I class under the instruction of George Boorujy; the class was encouraged to continue enhancing the painting outside of scheduled class time to resolve it. The title of "Pig Vesuvius" was inspired by a comment from my instructor regarding my composition, calling it a "volcano of pigs."
